Professor Jonathan TodresWith the recent news that Somalia has ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, now only two countries are still holdouts: South Sudan (which has been an independent nation for just a few years) and the USA.  The Somalia step has spurred a lot of discussion around the globe about the US position.  Professor Jonathan Todres is quoted in this article “EEUU y Sudán del Sur, los únicos países que no han ratificado la Convención de los Derechos del Niño” in El Diario discussing why the US is still a holdout.
